London Paint Club is thrilled to announce the solo presentation of the Brazil-born, London-based artist Rômulo Avi from 17 January – 17 March, 2024. Titled Hermaion, this presentation showcases Avi’s unique blend of abstract expression and Arcadian themes, inviting viewers into a world where myth, memory, and materiality converge.

Hermaion was published to mark Rômulo Avi’s solo presentation with London Paint Club at the London Art Fair (17-21 January 2024). Conceived in close collaboration with the artist, this publication provides an inclusive enquiry of Avi’s work with a commissioned essay by Dr. Matthew Holman. Hermaion showcases Avi’s unique blend of abstract expression and Arcadian themes, inviting viewers into a world where myth, memory, and materiality converge.
