Monika Vrancová

Slovak artist Monika Vrancová works with various media including painting, objects, installation and the environment. In her works, she develops a suggestive imagination concerning the crossing of human settlement limitations, the current ecological crisis, space colonialism and other destinies of our planet. Her landscapes are abstracted, dominated by solitary objects reduced to geometrically stylized elements, surfaces and overlapping shapes of muted color.
