Sebastián Riffo Montenegro (born in Chile, 1980) maintains a solid production of art that criticizes consumer society and socially constructed beliefs. Working mainly in painting, Sebastian also works in other mediums such as photography, 3D modeling and street art.

His work shows faceless figures in raincoats maneuvering through deconstructed colored field backgrounds. He works with a selective palette and controlled lighting to create veils of lucid colors and mysterious shapes. Absence is a common idea, which he uses to present a clear critique of current social customs such as religion, fashion, consumerism, success and power.
