Project Native Informant proudly presents Deep Nap, a solo exhibition by Curaçaoan artist Rinella Alfonso. In her first UK exhibition, Alfonso constructs poetic, biomorphic abstract channels between misty memories and hallucinatory fictions. Using imagery informed by archives that she has collected over the years, rendering ordinary objects and personal symbols, her paintings become evocations, carrying knowledge we cannot fully understand but intuitively feel, speaking in a decentered and transformative language.
