Alexander Hollinstead’s paintings concern the loss and rediscovery of oneself. His current series of paintings explore personal and universal themes of identity and discovering one’s true authenticity. His series of charcoal drawings are associated with the loss of industry and reinvention of the individual inspired by changes to the landscape of his childhood.
