Vilma Määttänen

b. 1989, Finland. Lives and works in Gothenburg, Sweden and Karjalohja, Finland

Vilma Määttänen has exhibited in multiple group exhibitions and a solo exhibition in Finland and Sweden. Vilma Määttänen’s practice includes painting, moving images and sculpture. She is deeply interested in the materiality of painting, and produces most of her pigments herself from raw materials found in her environment.
