Alice Cescatti (born in New Zealand) lives and works in England. She uses painting to express her life long fascination with the interaction between dramatic coastal landscapes and intense light. Materials such as gesso, clay and silver leaf, through a water gilded process visually express the reflective quality of light and water in her work.
