Adrian Gardner

Adrian Gardner (b. 1973) lives and works in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has a Fine Art degree in Painting from The University of Central Lancashire. His work explores themes of memory, imagination, permanence and existence. He is interested in how we experience and make sense of the world, now and in the past. He explores ideas of contrasts, love and loss, and mythological beliefs. In Greek mythology the river was the route to the underworld, surface beauty, a source of life with darkness tragedy and heartbreak below.
