Catherine Cole received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, from the University of Iowa in 1977. Catherine Cole has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the US and Europe. Cole uses strong color, line and formal space inspired by the natural world and urban life. Using traditional mediums of oil on canvas and acrylic, gouache and mixed media on paper, Cole’s paintings capture eternal truths and process emotion in a search for the sublime.
