Ignacio Alvaro

b. 1983, lives and works in Lima, Peru

Ignacio Alvaro attended the National Superior Autonomous School of Fine Arts of Peru, and has exhibited in multiple group and solo exhibitions in Peru. Alvaro’s paintings point to contemporary culture as a historical reference in which social and political elements become altered. Alvaro combies Pan American rituals and symbols with postmodern and contemporary visual trends.
