Mackenzie Perras

Mackenzie Perras (b. 1990 in Canada) was educated in Cultural Studies (Visual Culture) at McGill University in Montreal. Situated very clearly in the context of contemporary painting, his work often incorporates exotic, historical, or otherwise meaningful materials into painting. Through substance, image and word he often tells nuanced stories about the social history or emotional nature of materials that often fly under our radar.
